Advance booking of any regular film starts from Tuesday or Wednesday, but the makers of Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai have gone one step ahead and opened it five days before its release date. It seems that the strategy of the makers has worked well, as the espionage thriller has received an unprecedented response from the audience in the advance booking report. In just one day, the good number of shows in the multiplexes and single screens have gone houseful, which is indeed a great news for all Salmaniacs.
Talking about the film’s response in the advance report, trade expert Akshaye Rathi said, “Tiger Zinda Hai has got the response which a Salman Khan blockbuster suppose to get. The numbers are very encouraging.” He also informed that the fans of Salman Khan are very different compared to Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan fans. “For the Salman Khan film, you’ll never see as much of advance booking as you’ll probably see for an Aamir film or for a Shah Rukh Khan film because Salman Khan’s fan following is primarily the masses and they are more about current booking than advance booking. But having said that, the film has got unprecedented advance booking and very good trend so far.” (Also Read: Do you think Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai will be able to BEAT Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year’s opening day record?)
Despite ticket rates being above Rs 1000 to Rs 2400, fans are booking the seats in the multiplexes of the metro cities to witness Salman Khan’s action-packed avatar on
the silver screen. By looking at the current trend we are expecting Tiger Zinda Hai to rewrite new records at the box office, not only at the domestic market but also
in the international circuits.
