Sanjay Dutt and Salman are known to be the best buddies of Bollywood. Yes, they are the modern Jai Veeru of Bollywood. However, their friendship will be at stake this time when Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai goes head to head with Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic and the clash is all set to get all the Bollywood fans excited.
2017 has started off with a bang for all the Bollywood fans with Hrithik’s Kaabil and Shah Rukh’s Raees setting the big screen on fire. Bollywood is all set to make sure 2017 ends just like the way it started. Two massive movies are all set for a clash on the Christmas weekend of 2017. Rajkumar Hirani’s Dutt Biopic and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai will be releasing together expectedly to make Bollywood’s 2017 calendar all the more memorable.
While Tiger Zinda Hai is all about star power, The Dutt Biopic will rely more on its content. If the recent clash between Kaabil and Raees is considered then one can easily make out that The Dutt Biopic will have a slight edge over Tiger Zinda Hai. On one hand it will be the might of Rajkumar Hirani and on the other will be Ali
Abbas Zafar’s skills.
Zafar has showcased his directorial skills earlier through Sultan and what came out of it was simply remarkable. The mainstay of Tiger Zinda Hai will however surely be the Bhaijaan of Bollywood, Salman Khan. Another feather in Tiger Zinda Hai’s wings would be Katrina Kaif who has got a strong fan base too. It is not that Tiger Zinda Hai won’t have anything on the name of a story. Zafar has lately been hinting at the content he has in store for all of us. He terms Tiger Zinda Hai to be a political espionage thriller which is quite enough to make it sound interesting.
Rajkumar Hirani has so far had a cent per cent track record at the Box Office and his name is enough to let people know what is about to come. The Dutt Biopic will star Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. Ranbir hasn’t been having a great time recently and a movie of this sort is what he needs to get where he belongs to. Sonam Kapoor last starred in a Biopic and the result was an epic tribute to Neerja Bhanot.
That said, both the movies have got enough content and stardom to be a blockbuster and if both stand up to their expectations then records are sure to get shattered this December. Also, Salman Khan has never had a clash with any major movie since 2010 when his golden run at the Box Office had begun. It will be test for him as well are we areas dull know how good he is when he is supposed to deliver against tough opponents.
Both the movies will expectedly enjoy two extended weekends with New Year and Christmas both falling on a Monday. We all witnessed what a Christmas release can do when
Dangal came out and broke all records recently. These two movies are together expected to set a few new benchmarks and Bollywood and thrash the previous ones easily.
