Few days back the shoot of ‘Enthiran’ sequel ‘2.0’ started rolling. The project is one of the biggest projects of Kollywood and has a mega budget of Rs. 350 crore. In his blog post he revealed that he finished writing the film many months back. He also opened up about the flick and told that “The role of Chitti has been expanded with greater scope for the sense of humour, pace and anger of Rajinikanth. The antagonist character was written with another big star of Tamil cinema in mind and has

multiple faces. Arnold Schwarzenegger was almost finalized to play the role, but he could not do that due to problems related to international financial laws. Now Akshay Kumar has been cast in the role. Due to this strong antagonist factor ‘2.0’ will be more intense than Enthiran”.

The shooting of the S. Shankar is taking place at the outer skirts of Chennai in a huge erected set. Reportedly, the first schedule of the film will be wrapped within few days. The Lingaa actor will then resume the shooting for his film with Pa. Ranjith ‘Kabali’.
