While India is still not over ‘Baahubali 2′, and rejoicing over the revelation of ‘Why Katappa Killed Baahubali’; another huge tide is all set to sweep us along with it. That tide is none other than Rajinikanth and his upcoming movie ‘2.0′ that has already broken 2 of the big records of ‘Baahubali 2′, even before its release.
The makers are leaving no stone unturned in making this movie one of the wildest releases of all time and by the looks of the startling facts getting unveiled with each passing day, we aren’t surprised why everyone is talking about it. If you think Rajinikanth or Akshay Kumar aren’t reasons enough for you to give this movie a shot (although we don’t think there is anyone like that), this movie is the costliest project of India and will have everything desi.
In this movie, which is a sequel to ‘Robot’ aka ‘Enthiran’, everything i.e. the location, technical heads and the VFX technology will be made and shot in India.
While people were anticipating about what will happen to ‘2.0′, now that ‘Baahubali 2′ has changed the track of the Indian cinema’s history (one that was primarily obsessed with Bollywood movies); the former gave the answer in the most kickass way. Rajinikanth’s movie has already broken two of the big records of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster hit, whilst being in the post-production stage. Firstly, this movie is going to be released in as many as 15 languages. Don’t pinch yourself in amazement, this is true. ‘Baahubali’ was dubbed in 4 languages, but this one will be released in multiple languages including Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. However, dubbing is also being said to be one of the reasons why the film’s release date has been shifted from October to January 2018.
Second record is that ‘2.0′ has left ‘Baahubali 2′ behind in is its launch and screen count. The film is said to hit more than 7000 screens in India alone. The latter was released on more than 6,500 screens across the country. Well, it seems all those ‘Rajinikanth being a superhero’ and ‘Rajinikanth can do anything’ phrases aren’t jokes after all. These records only establish the same. Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson too will be seen in this movie. Surprisingly, Akshay will make his debut in the South Indian film industry with this movie. As we mentioned earlier, the release date of the movie has been shifted to next year, so till then let’s wait patiently although we know that keeping calm is really hard.
