People were miffed that they paid such a heavy amount to see Justin Bieber play his songs off YouTube. Sonali Bendre called the concert a waste of time.
Last night Justin Bieber performed live at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. Fans were eagerly waiting for the young star’s Purpose Tour in India, and the
singer has been on the top of the news for at least last few days. However, it seems all did not go down too well at the concert. Around 50,000 people descended at the
DY Patil Stadium and the 90 minute performance of Justin Bieber had a lot of weird as well as wonderful moments.
Justin Bieber brought some underprivileged kids on to the stage for whom he had given free passes; he allowed them to perform with him. He had to retune his guitar
mid-performance and attributed it to the heat and humidity. But what really sealed the deal for Justin Bieber’s fans was the fact that he was lip-syncing to his songs,
that too dreadfully. Even actress Sonali Bendre called the concert a waste of time.
For Justin Bieber’s concert people had shelled out around Rs 75,000 and quite a few of them had traveled from other towns like Bangalore, Pune, Delhi and Goa etc to
attend. However, what they did not expect was the pathetic performance the singer would display on stage and take all his fans for a ride. People were mortified to see
that Justin Bieber was not even attempting to lip sync to his songs and was generally giving a pathetic performance.
For such a hyped concert where the organizers spent so much money and many of Bieber’s demands were catered to reportedly, it came as a surprise for the fans that were
clearly dejected by the concert. Twitter was abuzz with negative tweets about the singer and this time the tweets were not flattering.
