So on this special day, let me discuss five of my most favourite movies that star the great Devgn…

Ajay Devgn turns 48 today. On behalf of BollywoodLife, I wish the two-time National Award winning actor Many Many Happy Returns of the Day.

One of the fittest actors around, Ajay Devgn made his debut nearly three decades back when he balanced himself on two moving bikes in his father’s Phool Aur Kaante. With that impactful start, Ajay Devgn continued to be a part of more action movies, which found him a lot of success. He changed gears and moved into dramatic territory, a move that rewarded him well with two National awards. And then before you know it, he switched gears to get into comedy and was successful here as well.
He has also turned director, making two films – a mushy U Me Aur Hum and an action thriller, last year’s Shivaay. In short, Ajay Devgn has given us some memorable, enoyable, powerful movies to watch and watch again, that too in different genres.

Ajay Devgn was brilliant in Zakhm, for which he won his first National Award for the Best Actor. But it’s this one where he won his second National Award that is closer to my cinematic heart.
