Baahubali 2, one of the biggest magnum opus will be out in 4 days. The film is directed by SS Rajamouli, produced by ARKA Media works. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan. For those who don’t know, the first part ended on a cliffhanger – and that’s why today it’s one of the most asked questions – Why Kattappa killed Bahaubali. Fans have been wracking their heads aorund this question and have come up with various theories. So here are 5 conspiracy theories that have been doing the rounds for the last two years. Did Kattappa actually kill Baahubali? One of the most famous theories is that – Kattappa NEVER killed Baahubali, in fact somebody else did and he took the blame for it. If that happens, it will truly be a wtf moment! All this time, it was the perfect illusion.
Kattappa’s loyalty towards Mahishmati – Another famous theory fans can’t stop speculating about is that – Kattappa killed Bahaubali because of his loyalty towards the throne. Even in Part 1, Bhallaladeva points out that Katttappa’s loyalty lies with Mahishmati than with the person who takes over the throne.
Devasena- Baahubali unequal alliance Devasena will play an important character in this film – There has been a theory doing the rounds that Devasena might in fact be Kattappa’s daughter and Baahubali falls in love with her. Sivagami was not too happy with the unequal alliance. furthermore her son Bhallaladeva manipulates her into giving orders to kill Bahaubali.
Baahubali turning villain – Another theory people have been considering is the virtuous, humble king – Amarendra Baahubali suddenly grows arrogant, Drunken with power, he becomes a conceited, boastful king who needs to be destroyed before the kingdom meets its end. That’s when Kattappa steps into the picture and kills him, for the sake of Mahishmati.
Baahubali-Devasena-Bhallaladeva love triangle – There’s another valid theory that Bhallaladeva and Baahubali – both fall for Devasena. Sivagami puts forth condition – who ever marries Devasena will have to leave the kingdom. Bahaubali agrees to the condition and leaves. But his kingdom comes under attack, and he return out of loyalty to Mahishmati. Bhalladeva feraing that the throne might be given back to Bahaubali as he has come to save the kingdome, orders Kattappa to kill him. Kattappa
