The Kapil Sharma show is now going off air as the latest brawl between Kapil and Sunil has made Sony entertainment channel to shut down it officially. Since Kapil Sharma’s fight with his colleague Sunil Grover broke out in public the show has broken all the records of bad remarks.
For those who’re not yet pally with this affair, Kapil Sharma while returning from Australia to Mumbai in a Flight has made bad comments on Sunil Grover and tried to hit him with his shoe. The incident was witnessed by the whole public presented there and who were also tried to make Kapil calm down as he was heavily drunk. After this incident, Sunil Grover has left the show for the sake of his self-respect and later he was joined by Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra as they were too annoyed by the Kapil’s behaviour. Now the news is that The channel (Sony Entertainment Television) is not at all happy with the way things are, and is considering to take the show off air according to a report in the DNA.
DNA quoted a source as saying “Kapil had to cancel shoots as he couldn’t get big celebs as guests. He has, in fact, left for Bikaner to shoot for his film, Phirangi, and will return to Mumbai on March 29,”
The show is supposed to be renewed next month with a Rs 106 crore deal, but ‘this’ might not happen. After Sunil’s and others boycott, the new comedians have entered the show but the channel is not so happy with the replacements. The new cast includes Raju Shrivastava, Sunil Pal, Ahsaan Qureshi and Rajeev Thakur. According to the source
“Sunil won’t return to the show even if given a big pay hike. He has several other offers. He just wants this phase to get over,”
