Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs Funnybones gained popularity and eventually, proved to be a brand through her writings that are laced with wit and sarcasm. She has clearly justified her tag as a writer and in a family of movie stars, she has distinctly carved a niche of her own.
She is funny, opinionated, and doesn’t think twice during interviews and one-on-one conversations. She is there to rule her space.
Twinkle attended the Times Lit Fest 2016 and here are some excerpts from her interview:
1. Twinkle was into reading since her childhood, thanks to her late father. And that’s why she knows the importance of reading and the effect it has on our mind.
“I have been reading since childhood. Malavika Sangghvi (the anchor of the session) had once called me to say, ‘I know your father (Rajesh Khanna) very well. He calls me late at night.’ By the time I was in my teens, I was reading science fiction. It’s important to read because you have to fill your head with words. It’s like buying a juicer grinder and switching it on, with nothing in it. You need to put something in it, only then will something worthwhile come out of it. It’s the same with words and writing.”
