In 2016 too there have been scenes from really big movies, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and Katrina Kaif that actually make you scratch your head and wonder, ‘Bro, WTF?’.

Bollywood is, of course, not known for its subtleties, unlike you are a Aanand L Rai, Imtiaz Ali or Shoojit Sircar. Many a times we have witnessed scenes that are so over the top, that can never happen in real life, and yet they are inserted in the movies. Because the makers feel we love to see our heroes go way beyond what is normal. Earlier, it was okay to have over the top scenes where people can do whatever they want in movies and get away with it. Like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor donating blood to their mother at the same time in Amar Akbar Anthony. Or that scene in Main Hoon Na where Shah Rukh Khan is chasing the villains’ jeep on a horse cart. Or a diminutive Shahid Kapoor taking on 50 plus goons on his own in R… Rajkumar.

However, Bollywood is evolving and we are moving more into realistic movie experience. But the evolution is slow, and there are writers in Bollywood who still feel it’s okay to introduce a silly twist or scene in the movie and expect us to swallow them without any complaint. In 2016 too there have been scenes from really big movies that actually make you scratch your head and wonder, ‘Bro, WTF?’. We have compiled 10 such scenes, though we are sure there are a lot more.

1. Aryan and Gaurav turning superheroes

Despite having one of Shah Rukh Khan‘s finest performances, FAN ends up being a confused film as it didn’t know whether to be a slice of life movie or a action thriller. Aryan Khan and Gaurav are both shown as normal humans with petty issues just like us. And in a couple of scenes, both act like trained stuntmens giving even Spider-Man a complex. This is especially jarring in that chase sequences in Europe where both are seen jumping off cliffs and rooftops, and don’t even get killed in the process. I know such things happens in usual Hindi movies, but FAN was never supposed to be a usual Hindi movie.
